Elaine Allison

Elaine AllisonMayor Elaine Allison moved to Moraine in 1997. A graduate of Miami University, Mrs. Allison is a commercial lending officer for a local bank. In her spare time, Mrs. Allison enjoys reading, volunteering with animal groups, and working around her farm.

Mrs. Allison has always been eager to serve her community. She is a past president of a local Rotary Club and currently serves on the Board of Directors for SICSA. She also volunteers with the emergency animal rescue division of RedRover and has deployed on several large scale emergency rescues. Mrs. Allison first became involved with City government as a member of the Personnel Appeals Board. First elected to City Council in 2001 as a Council-At-Large member, she was re-elected in 2005 and 2009. Mrs. Allison took office as Mayor in February 2011.

“I have enjoyed working with our City staff and citizens to make Moraine the best city it can be,” Mrs. Allison explained. “I’m looking forward to the completion of several current projects, especially the redevelopment of the former GM site.”
