Egg Hunt Registration

Moraine’s Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 27, at Wax Park.

Last year, the coronavirus canceled the event along with almost all other community activities. However, now Council feels conditions have improved enough to allow the popular function without endangering the public in the process.

This year’s egg hunt will include several changes, with the biggest being pre-registration before March 22.  People will not be allowed to participate if they show up the day of the program.

Park and Recreation Director, Kristen Gopman said it is difficult to gauge parents’ willingness to participate in the 2021 egg hunt or how many people will attend. She emphasized that the program will require pre-registration this year and only 25 tickets per age group (ages 0-12) are available, so sign up early and select your time from 10a to 3p at moraineparkandrec.com. Additionally, the program will be moved to Wax Park to better help with crowd control. We will be following the State’s COVID guidelines, masks will also be required, and participants will be asked not to attend if they are exhibiting any symptoms or been directly exposed to COVID-19.
