Ellerton Cemetery

The City of Moraine provides a full range of services at Ellerton Cemetery (4573 S. Union Rd). Prices for each service, as set forth by Council, are provided below. Prices are set based on past practices at this site, and by regional averages at other cemeteries. Credits may be applied to each grave purchased, but only one such credit may be applied in this manner.

Openings / Closings – Standard Burials

• Monday – Friday – $850.00

• Saturday – Sunday – $1000.00

• Cremation (7 Days) – $500.00

• Holidays – $300.00 surcharge

Openings / Closings – Disinterment*

• Disinterment & Reburial (7 Days) – $2,000.00

* Disinterments where the decedent is relocated to another grave within Ellerton Cemetery are billed as shown. Disinterments where the decedent is to be moved to another cemetery are billed at the standard Opening/Closing rate.

Single Lot: $450.00
Double Lot: $600.00
Precast Concrete for Bronze Veteran’s Markers: $100.00
Single Lot Maximum Size: 42” x 12” Headstone and 48” x 18” Foundation.
Double Lot Maximum Size (Centered across two graves): 48” x 12” Headstone and 54” x 18” Foundation.
This includes the 3-inch foundation border that is around the headstone itself that is required.
For the Bronze VA Markers, the markers are made at 24” x 12” in size.
