Rezoning Case R-01-2018 – The City Council will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, June 14th, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439, to give consideration to a proposed zoning district change for City Lots 2157-2163 and 5275. The property is located at 3351 Main Street in the City of Moraine, and totals 1.103 acres +/-. The proposed zoning change would place the parcel in Moraine’s B-2 General Business District.

Any person interested in or affected by this public hearing may appear and be heard at said public meeting. Additional information regarding this proposal may be obtained by visiting the Department of Community Development or by calling (937) 535-1030.

Construction of the Deer Meadow Possum Creek Multiuse Trail – The City of Moraine will receive sealed bid proposals for the Construction of the Deer Meadow Possum Creek Multiuse Trail until June 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. local time, at the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A pre-bid meeting will be held May 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Deer Meadow Park, 4321 Pinnacle Rd, Moraine, OH 45439.

Proposals must be made on a hard copy of the forms provided by the City of Moraine in the Contract Documents section, or an UNALTERED COPY thereof, with a lump sum bid amount or a total bid amount with a price quoted for each item of work. The price of labor and materials is to be separately stated.

The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the City of Moraine.

The commencement date will be on or about July 10, 2018.

Plans and Specs are printed on an as needed basis. If you wish to purchase a printed copy of½ Scale Plans for $100.00, you MUST REQUEST AHEAD OF TIME by calling Beth Waters at (937) 535-1030. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held May 16, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Moraine Municipal Building.

Each proposal shall be signed by the full name and business address of each person or company interested in the same; shall be accompanied by a security bond by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, or by a certified check on some solvent bank in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the submitted proposal, the surety bond or certified check being payable to the City of Moraine, Ohio, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured by a satisfactory bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.

HVAC Service/Maintenance Contract (May 2018) – The City of Moraine will receive sealed bid proposals for the HVAC SERVICE/MAINTENANCE CONTRACT (MAY 2018) until May 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. local time, at the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Special Use 2018-01 – The Board of Zoning Appeals of The City of Moraine, Ohio, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 03, 2018 at 6:00 pm at The City of Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, to hear an appeal request (Case No. 2018-01) submitted by, Kirk Morris for the premises located at, 1940 Dorothy Ln. City Lot No. 5436

The appellant requests an appeal to Moraine Codified Ordinances (MCO) sections:

MCO 1157.03 (b) (2) B 1. Site Development Regulations; yard requirements, minimum rear yard.

Appellant request to add onto an existing rear building 10’ leaving only 20’ rear yard depth instead of the required 30’ for a 1 story structure.

Farmland Lease – The City of Moraine is proud to offer 24 acres of farmland for lease. The site is located on the eastern side of Soldiers Home – West Carrollton Road, north of Pinnacle Road and approximately 500 feet south of Shank Road. Written proposals must include a per-acre lease price and complete contact information. Proposals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

Special Use 2018-01 – The City of Moraine, Ohio, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439.  OH Exchange Facilities Networks, LLC has submitted an application to install cellular backhaul equipment on a wooden DP&L pole located at the corner of Beechgrove Rd. and Swimming Hole Rd. Moraine, Ohio 45439. The pole is located in the right of way.
