Notice to Bidders:
The City of Moraine uses secure internet bidding via Info Tech’s Bid Express Service. Electronic bid submission is the preferred form of bidding capital projects solicited by the Engineering Department.

It is pertinent all vendors register, setup to bid electronically, and navigate the service in advance to upcoming solicitation deadlines. All vendors who intend to submit their bids electronically will be required to install the Info Tech Express Sign Tool and generate an Info Tech Digital ID for their business’ authorized signer.

2021 Haverstick South Improvements – The City of Moraine will receive sealed bid proposals via the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) for the 2021 Haverstick South Improvements until March 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Paper bid submissions will NOT be permitted.

Bid specifications and plans are only available through Bid Express using the Bid Express website and software at: www.bidexpress.com; Phone: 1-888-352-2439. Free registration with Bid Express will allow a bidder to review all project plans. A digital ID along with a per-bid fee or monthly subscription will be required for bidders to submit an electronic bid.

This is an ODOT local LET project. The Contractor must be ODOT pre-qualified for the proposed work.

An optional pre-bid meeting will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10:30am at the Moraine Municipal Building.

Each proposal shall be signed by the full name and business address of each person or company interested in the same; shall be accompanied by a security bond by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, or by a certified check on some solvent bank in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the submitted proposal, the surety bond or certified check being payable to the City of Moraine, Ohio, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured by a satisfactory bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.

The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the City of Moraine.

MOT- Vance Road Resurfacing PID 113143 – The City of Moraine will receive sealed bid proposals via the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) for the MOT- Vance Road Resurfacing PID 113143 until March 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Paper bid submissions will NOT be permitted.

Rezoning Case R-01-2020 – The Moraine City Council will be holding a public hearing to give consideration to a proposed Zoning District Change for the property at 3333 South Dixie Drive in the City of Moraine. The property is located in the B-2 General Business District, and consists of 3.66 acres +/-. The proposal would rezone the property to a Business Planned Unit Development District (B-PUD). /p>

The applicant has requested a concurrent review, during which Council will also review and make recommendations on a Specific Site Plan for the proposed development.

The public hearing will be held on Thursday, January 28th, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. as a telemeeting, per HB 404.
