Notice to Bidders:
The City of Moraine uses secure internet bidding via Info Tech’s Bid Express Service. Electronic bid submission is the preferred form of bidding capital projects solicited by the Engineering Department.

It is pertinent all vendors register, setup to bid electronically, and navigate the service in advance to upcoming solicitation deadlines. All vendors who intend to submit their bids electronically will be required to install the Info Tech Express Sign Tool and generate an Info Tech Digital ID for their business’ authorized signer.

BZA Case 2022-02 – The Board of Zoning Appeals of The City of Moraine, Ohio, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 6:00 pm at The City of Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, to hear an appeal request (Case No. 2022-02) submitted by Robert Bowman for the premises located at, 6018 Aviation Trail City Lot No. 5639

The appellant requests an appeal to Moraine Codified Ordinances (MCO) sections: 1. MCO 1141.03 (b) (2) B 1. Site Development Regulations; Permitted Uses Only. Yard Requirements, Minimum rear yard.

Appellant request to add onto an existing rear building 14’ leaving approximately 36’ rear yard depth instead of the required 40’ for a 1 to 2-story structure.

2023 Comprehensive Plan – The City is seeking a qualified and experienced firm to provide professional services leading to the drafting of a Comprehensive Land Use Plan. Core tasks will include coordination with City staff and elected officials, solicitation of public feedback regarding both the existing and proposed plans, background research involving public data and statistics related to the City and the region, and the actual drafting of the Plan itself. The Consultant will also be expected to prepare presentations on various aspects of the plan for the public and/or stakeholder groups.

As currently envisioned, the 2023 Comprehensive Plan will lay out the City’s strategies for Land Use and Development, Transportation, and the provision of Utility Services for all areas of the City. Proposals will be evaluated on a variety of criteria, including but not limited to the experience of both the firm and the project team, proposed schedule/timeline for the project, technical understanding and approach to the plan, and proposed project budget.

***UPDATED*** – Shingle Roof Replacement 2022 Project for City of Moraine Park Shelters – The City of Moraine will receive sealed bid proposals via the Bid Express website for Shingle Roof Replacement 2022 Project for City of Moraine Park Shelters until August 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time, at the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio, 45439 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid documents MUST BE REQUESTED ON OR BEFORE 4:00 p.m. on Monday, 25th July, 2022, by calling Donna Darner, Maintenance Secretary, at 937-535-1050. These can be found below or Bid documents may be e-mailed at no charge upon request to ddarner@moraineoh.org.

Rezoning Case R-02-2022 – The Moraine Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to give consideration to a proposed zoning district change for City Lot 5080. The property is located 350 feet north of Hemple Road, on the east side of Soldiers Home Miamisburg Road, and totals 4.975 acres +/-. As proposed, the application would change the property’s zoning district from R-2 Single Family Residential to B-2 General Business.

The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439. Any person interested in or affected by this public hearing may appear and be heard at said public meeting. Rezoning Case R-01-2022 – The Moraine Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing to give consideration to a proposed zoning district change for City Lots 1315 through 1321. As proposed, the application would change the property’s zoning district from B-1 Neighborhood Business to B-2 General Business.
