Part-Time Youth and Adult Programming Supervisor

Description

The City of Moraine is seeking a part-time Youth and Adult Programming Supervisor to join its Parks and Recreation team. Under the general direction of the Program Coordinator, this position is responsible for the supervision of daily operations and community programs offered through the City of Moraine’s Parks and Recreation Department. The position will assist in the supervision of the Parks and Recreation Department part-time employees and volunteers. This position will assist in the development of parks and recreation programs and special events serving a diverse population.

Salary

$13.85 – $20.45

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least one year experience with youth or community programs.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred or be obtained immediately after hire.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Can demonstrate dependability, reliability and an excellent attendance record.
• Frequently required to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions.

Will occasionally lift items weighing 50 pounds or less.

• Possess a current Ohio state driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check is required. All candidates must be willing to submit to random drug screenings.
