Star Spangled Boom Approved
Last night at the Moraine City Council Meeting, Council gave the approval for the Star Spangled Boom this year on July 4th at Wax Park.
The annual event at Wax Park was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. “We expect to bring back the activities traditionally associated with the celebration, but will monitor and follow state COVID-19 guidelines accordingly,” said Moraine Mayor Elaine Allison.
“This year we are excited to introduce a new low-profile firework show, with the best spot to view the display being at Wax Park,” said Parks Director Kristen Gopman.
