City Construction Update – Summer 2023

Summer is here, and so is “Orange Barrel Season”! Please drive cautiously and respect all construction zones. These zones are set up to protect the workers and drivers!

Updated information regarding construction zones will be posted on the City’s social media pages.

2023 Concrete Program – The City will be replacing curb and curb ramps on Springboro Road West, Tyler Way, Kreitzer Road, and Viking Lane.  Concrete pavement will also be installed on Springboro Road West near Dryden Road. All work is expected to be complete by Fall 2023. Concrete curb and sidewalk repairs in Moraine are NOT assessed to the property owners.

2023 Paving Program – The City will be resurfacing all roads in German Village, the City’s portion of Infirmary Road, and the parking lots and path within Pinnacle Park. Final surface pavement will also be completed in Wright Landing. All work is expected to be complete by Fall 2023.

Cobblegate Drive Improvements – Roadway resurfacing, curb replacement, and curb ramp installation will be completed on Cobblegate Drive. Work will be completed from SR 741 to Alex Bell Road. Construction is expected to begin this Summer and will be completed by October 2023. This project is partially funded by a Community Development Block Grant through Montgomery County.

South Dixie Drive Resurfacing – South Dixie Drive will be resurfaced from SR 741 to Stroop Road. This work is scheduled to begin this summer and will be complete by October 2023. This project is partially funded by a Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) grant through the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission.
