Moraine awarded KMCB Grant
Montgomery County Environmental Services, through the Keep Montgomery County Beautiful (KMCB) program, has announced that the City of Moraine has been selected to receive a 2022 KMCB Beautification Grant, this funding will go toward the purchase of beautification materials within Moraine.
Parks Director Brent Shane said “this grant will help us plant new trees to define our disc golf course at Deer Meadow Park. We plan on planting six poplar trees which will provide shade, moisture control and beautification to an area of the park that is needed.”
“We would like to thank Montgomery County and Chris Hoffman for awarding the City of Moraine this grant,” Shane added.
