Ziggy’s reopens Wednesday with new owner

A bar reopened under new ownership Wednesday in Moraine.

According to a sign on the entrance, Ziggy’s at 5528 N. Springboro Pike was closed July 13 and 14 as part of a transition period of new ownership.

2 NEWS confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that the location has reopened under new ownership.

The new owners told this outlet that the name Ziggy’s will be staying for the time being, but will soon change to “Rocknockers.”

In June, the owner of Ziggy’s announced the business had sold. Ziggy’s was placed on the market in early May.

“Thank you to all of our valued customers for your support throughout the years,” said Peanut, the retiring owner of Ziggy’s.

Staff from Ziggy’s under previous ownership will remain the same, according to a social media post.
