Shirley and her husband Larry moved to the City of Moraine in June 1969 and she has lived in the same house on Lakehurst since that time. Shirley has been active in the community for many years starting back when their daughter, Darla, was a teenager and she was involved in the Civic Center. In recent years, Shirley has been appointed to the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Merit System Commission, the Parks and Recreation Board, and involved with the Moraine Seniors Group and the S.M.A.R.T.E. Committee which worked to get the income tax increase passed. Shirley has, for several years, also volunteered her time and good home cooking to food for the Police and Fire Appreciation Dinners and enjoys helping the needy.
“I am looking forward to serving the citizens of Ward 3 and will always serve with the City’s best interest at heart”. If there is a problem or issue in Ward 3, Shirley can be reached at 299-9825.
