ATI Employees Beautify Johnny Appleseed Trail
Employees with American Thermal Instruments Company on East River Road gave back to the Moraine community in a big way on October 12th. Partnering with the Volunteer Program, company employees gave up an afternoon of work to perform maintenance over the historic Johnny Appleseed Hiking Trail located between German Village and Heather Hills subdivisions.
ATI employees walked over 1.5 miles along the main yellow trail and red spur trail cutting back overgrown branches, bushes and weeds, picked up litter and removed fallen tree branches. Employees worked together and built three footbridges over
several creek crossings.
“I want to thank George Wilders and the employees of American Thermal Instruments who took the time and worked extremely hard to beautify the JA Trail making it more accessible and safe for hikers in our community”, stated Dave Miller, Volunteer Coordinator.
