Part-Time Sports and Fitness Supervisor

Description

The City of Moraine is seeking a part-time Sports and Fitness Supervisor to join its Parks and Recreation team. Under the general direction of the Sports and Fitness Program Coordinator, this position will assist in managing the recreation fitness facilities within the Payne Recreation Center, including managing inventory, supervising and scheduling staff, and monitoring participants and activities. The position is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing sports, fitness, and wellness programing. The position will monitor and operate adult and youth sports programs and assist with special events.

Salary

$13.85 – $20.45

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one or more years of sports and/or fitness experience preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred or be obtained immediately after hire.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
• Can demonstrate dependability, reliability and an excellent attendance record.
• Frequently required to stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions. Will occasionally lift items weighing 50 pounds or less.
• Possess a current Ohio state driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check is required. All candidates must be willing to submit to random drug screenings.
