Smoke detectors available for residents

When you change your clocks on November 4th, it is recommended to change the batteries in your smoke detectors too. When doing so check the date of manufacture on your Smoke detector. If your smoke detector is more than 10 years old it is recommended to replace the detector.

The Fire Division has 10 year dual sensor smoke detectors available FREE to Moraine residents. These detectors are sealed and the batteries never have to be changed. When the batteries die, it is time to replace the detector. Please contact the Fire Division Secretary at 535-1132 or msmith@moraineoh.org to make arrangements to receive your detector.
