Free Document Shredding for Residents

Why Shred? Shredding confidential documents you may no longer need is one way to reduce your risk of becoming an identity theft victim. Take advantage of the City’s annual free document shredding for Moraine residents only (not businesses).

The free shredding opportunity will be held at the Fire Division Neighborhood Safety Fest on Saturday, October 7 from 10am to 12pm only. The Neighborhood Safety Fest will be held at C.F. Holliday Elementary School, 4100 South Dixie Drive. The document shredding drop off is easy. Pull in the first entrance at the school. Volunteers will carry your documents from your car to the Shred truck.Nothing for you to carry and you do not even need to leave your car. Documents will be shredded on-site.

After the drop-off you may leave or you can pull forward into the parking lot and enjoy the free food, fun events and displays put on by the Moraine Fire Division. Although the document shredding is for two hours only, the Neighborhood Safety Fest runs from 10am to 2pm. For more information on the document shredding contact the Volunteer Office at 535-1003.
