Description
The Moraine Fire Department is accepting applications for Part-Time Firefighters. This position supports emergency response operations including fire suppression, EMS response, rescue, and public safety activities. Qualified candidates must possess strong teamwork skills, a commitment to training, and the ability to perform duties in high-stress environments. Applicants must meet all departmental, state, and certification requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience, serve the community, and work within a professional fire service organization. Incomplete applications and/or unqualified candidates will not be considered or responded to.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess Firefighter Level I certification at the time of hire (Firefighter Level II preferred) and hold a current EMT-Basic certification (Paramedic certification preferred). Candidates must also be able to work a platoon schedule consisting of one 24-hour shift every sixth day.
