Rebuild Moraine

City staff donated their time and efforts to help a local family. The entire month of May was spent prepping, scraping, power washing, residing, reroofing and landscaping a Moraine home for a very grateful family of 4, the Murphy Family.

The project was the idea of Parks and Recreation’s Grace Neal, Police Division’s Jason Neubauer and Fire Division’s Gary Rettig. Everyone involved came together to create an awesome way to give back to the community and create a unique half time show for the Annual Police vs. Fire Charity Basketball Game. This project was based solely on donations of money, supplies and labor.
