Registration for garden plots

Each garden plot will require a $15 fee resident/$20 nonresident paid (each year). Plot registration happens in two phases:

Registration

Registration will take place at the PRC

Phase I

March 1st, for all returning garden plot gardeners who want to keep their same plot.

Phase II

March 15th, for new gardeners or gardeners who want to change their plots.

Garden Plot Information

Garden Plot size is 20’ x 90’. The 78 garden plots are located on Vance Road at the end of Dorf Drive, near the entrance to German Village. Plot must be planted by May 20 or will be reclaimed by the City. Weed control during the summer and
early fall is important. If weeds overgrow the plot, the user will lose the plot. All plots must be cleared by November 1. Any participant who does not clear his or her plot of stakes and other items which could damage a tractor during plowing will lose his gardening privileges for the next year.
